Friends Helping Friends Succeed.

Does the thought of getting up to speak in front of a group of people terrify you?

When you’re in a meeting and are called upon unexpectedly to speak, what do you do?

Do you: or Break out in a sweat?
  • Have a hard time collecting your thoughts
  • Have you taken a back seat at work or school because you were afraid of speaking up.
  • Have you felt held back due to poor speaking skills.
  • All of the above?
How often do you hear yourself, as well as others, say:

Um,“like” “er” or “ah”???
How bad does that sound?!

  • We offer an opportunity To increase your leadership skills.
  • Develop your self-confidence in an environment that fosters personal growth for all members.

 Toastmasters Clubs provide
  • A  informal environment dedicated to learning.
  • Programs that can be tailored to meet your personal objectives.
  • Guidance in the use of visual aids, experience and knowledge in the area of writing, preparing and presenting before an audience or at any meeting.

How The Program Works:

  • The Toastmasters program exposes each participant to a wide range of communication experiences.
The initial speeches as outlined in the basic Communication and Leadership program manual, are designed with the new Toastmaster in mind.
A variety of speeches help the participant develop competency in areas such as organization, voice inflection and persuasiveness.

During the meeting

  • Table Topics sessions, help members learn to think on their feet by delivering short impromptu speeches, lasting one to two minutes.
After giving a prepared speech
  • Each Toastmaster receives a constructive speech evaluation. This process recognizes speakers for their strengths and provides valuable insight into problem areas.
